Brenda Garacci

       Brenda Garacci Designs features custom-made creations rendered by means of integration, enhancement and painting.  While some of the designs showcase original photographs and photo watercolors, many utilize paintings with expired copyrights that were found in the public domain.  My goal is to make these new creations as unique and innovative as possible.

 

       Two things that I am most excited about at this time are my song videos and new vintage collections.  The songs and videos can be found on this site, and several of my latest bird designs are displayed on the homepage. 

 

       A longtime resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, I am originally from New England.  While I very much enjoy photographing pets, most of my recent time has been devoted to making computer-generated designs.  By combining images and using special effects, I create these designs in multiple layers without the use of Photoshop.   

 

        Although a reading specialist and certified English teacher by trade, my greatest passion lies in creating designs and writing songs.  I look forward to someday publishing hand-printed plates of some of my best pieces.  It is my wish, after having done a bit of calligraphic work in the past, to showcase a few of my designs alongside hand-printed poems or inscriptions.  Some of my previous publications are displayed on the book page of this site.
